The song "Your Blood is Enough" was written in 2014/15. I was listening to a podcast while training for a half marathon and the speaker kept repeating the phrase, "His blood is enough." Over and over, it kind of stuck with me throughout the day and came out in a writing session.
'Breaking Out' is a fun song of celebration declaring God’s greatness, faithfulness, and love for us. Psalm 104:1 says “Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty…” This song is a reminder that God is bigger than the issues we face. Whether we make them out to be big or small, He is bigger and greater than any issue we could ever face. It’s a song in which we can celebrate and declare the truth of God’s Word over our lives.
Autumn is passionate about seeing people experience freedom and victory during worship. She says, “I believe so many of us carry baggage and pain that we were not meant to carry. When we choose to lay it down and worship Him, it’s all left there at His feet.”
Faithfulness is not only something that God shows us by His great compassion and love for us-faithfulness is the very nature of who God is. I think we all have seasons of time when our love and pursuit of Jesus lack zeal and tenacity. We may even begin to doubt God’s plans for us or something that He has spoken to us. It’s in these times that it’s comforting to read verses like 2 Timothy 2:13, and that is essentially what we’re declaring in this song. It’s who He is-He IS faithfulness. His love doesn’t waver, it doesn’t wane when we are unfaithful. He is constant, true, loving, and gracious at ALL times.
Shekinah comes from a musical family and has been singing as long as she can remember. When she joined the student worship team, she was following in the footsteps of her older brother and thought it would be cool. She quickly fell in love with leading people into God’s presence.
